La Plata County is building a public health department to provide the services that San Juan Basin Public Health currently administers. Beginning in January 2024, the La Plata County Public Health department will be county residents' source for environmental health, consumer protection, maternal-child health programs, clinic services, prevention and harm reduction programs, vital records and more!
